a year agoAn excellent zoo. Great variety of animals. Well maintained facilities. Lots of cafes scattered about. A playground. Activities geared toward kids. Friendly and helpful staff. No complaints, really. We bought a year-long family pass, which pays for itself after just a few visits. It’s nice to come to the zoo every other month or so for a few hours. The gift shop is also good, with a great range of toys and other gear, much of it quite reasonably priced. I highly recommend the zoo.

7 months agoWhat a beautiful day to spend in this fabulous zoo. Every space is well thought and puts you in a special ambiance. There are so many species to discover and enjoy to see very closely, what a great idea. We can see that the zoo is well taken care of and that the animals are not suffering from very small spaces unlike other zoos. It’s also important to rase that the Zoo is engage in conservation which makes it even more special. True that the entry ticket price is high however it’s really well deserve. One day is needed to visit the park.

7 months agoWhat an amazing day! The zoo keepers and volunteers are so friendly and knowledgeable. The care given to these beautiful animals is impeccable. I know a lot of people do not agree with animals in cages, however the work done and love for these animals is second to none. I will continue to support London Zoo. What they do is important. I can't wait to come back again. Thank you ZSL! 😊

11 months agoMy partner and I had a wonderful day at London Zoo. We booked in advance online, which was easy. We managed to see all of the animals as the zoo layout was easy to navigate and there was plenty of signposts. My partner and I were also fortunate enough to take part in the penguin experience. Sonia led the session brilliantly and was very informative. We were able to stroke some of the more confident penguins and learn about all the different personalities. It was extremely worth it. Do not rush your visit and take your time to truly understand the great conservation work this zoo is doing. Seeing a lot of these animals is a blessing considering so many face a degree of extinction. I think it's also important to understand that at times there is general maintenance and improvements to the zoo and therefore some exhibits are not always available. Our visit was off-peak (weekday), meaning there was a comfortable amount of people around. The cafe was well stocked with a variety of tasty food; the coffees available were pretty good (take your own takeaway cup). The toilet areas were kept very clean. Date of experience: October 2021
