My friend and I went for the Peter Pan afternoon tea experience and had many pleasant surprises. Our table, like most, was faced out against the London sky line, and we could see Tower Bridge, the Thames, and the trains all go by from our 32nd floor vantage point. It was a bit stuffy inside, but they offer to take your bags and coats which helps. The Peter Pan theme itself was very cute and well designed. You received the sandwiches and tarts on the face of Big Ben, and as you clear the plate, the Darling children are revealed. The experience is a buffet so we ordered our favourite sandwich again, the chicken barbecue. When the desserts and scones came, they flew in via ship, and the server poured in some water for a lovely dry ice effect that made it seem like the ship was truly flying. The scones were hiding in a treasure chest and certainly were a treat to eat, especially with the apricot jam. My favourite dessert was the Peter Pan hat that was a very pleasant coconut cream base. I was too full to get to the Tinkerbell cookie and mousse, but I was able to take a to-go box. Overall, a wonderful leisurely time out with great food, service, and atmosphere. The staff go above and beyond to greet you with smiles. I was even personally accompanied to the loo when I asked about its location. I highly recommend!

We are new to fine dining, in fact this was our first time. We were blown away by the views, service, atmosphere, food and drinks. I will remember that night for the rest of my life. Every course served was full of flavour but also not too rich as this was a concern for my wife’s dietary needs. I do believe I chose the best desert (although I might be bias) it was like Willy Wonker himself had prepared it. Chocolate will never be the same. Again amazing job by all the staff would strongly recommend. One point of view I would suggest you strongly consider it the fact that you are getting comparative views as the London eye which are mind blowing with the sunset and at night with London illuminated. Thank you so much for making our first visit to London so special ❤️

3.5/5 Started off coming early for dinner so we sat near the bar for a drink. No service for 20 minutes until we went to the dining table. The place was half empty with a lot of staff milling around doing nothing. The dinner was set menu with options for mains and sides. Overall good food bit as exepected for the price. The lamb and sea bass were the mains and both were good. The entree was a sample of 4 as was dessert. Overall the dishes were good but had a lot going on. Many ingredients and a lot of different flavours. Might benefit from being more simple. A couple of the desserts weren’t for me. Plenty of food with this menu even though there is a premium for this window seat and menu option - it seems like good value. Although I didn’t pay so can’t comment on quality to price ratio. I’m sure you pay for the view though… Great views of course. Service (for the meal) was great. Champagne and extra 4 glasses of wine was good but typical restaurant markups (at least triple+).

A wonderful afternoon and tea celebrating a special birthday. Although these afternoon teas are very expensive it was one of the better ones with attention to detail. Our lovely waiter was so attentive. I did have some dietary requirements (not due to allergies) and ended up being given a ‘vegan’ alternative which wasn’t a complete success.

My daughter and I had the three course Sunday brunch menu at £60pp. The waitress who seated us asked us to choose a wine for each course from the choices on the Brunch menu card together with our food choices for each course. It was only when I turned the card over I saw that the wine wasn't included and was actually an extra £33pp. Instead, we ordered some water and single gins with lemonade and were charged an astonishing £19.50 for each of these drinks. Also, be aware of the 'discretionary' 15% service charge that is added to your bill. On the plus side the food was absolutely amazing and the portions were good, every course was cooked and served perfectly. As a table of 2 we were given a window seat on what was a clear bright morning so the view we had was second to none too. I felt the atmosphere was a little stifled as though the staff were afraid to get into a conversation with us even though we tried and my only real criticism is that inside the ladies toilets, there are no hangers for coats and bags ... this is the first time I have ever had to put a coat on a toilet floor which to me is unacceptable! Overall, we felt we would return, now being forewarned of the pricing.
