The Walks at Gray’s Inn, located in the heart of Central London and only a short five-minute walk from Chancery Lane station, is a hidden gem that offers five acres of private gardens, perfect for hosting summer parties. From June to July, an elegant, custom-built marquee will be set up in The Walks, with a magnificent interior design that reflects the Inn’s rich history. The reception area features a clear roof, providing a charming setting under beautifully lit trees where guests can enjoy a refreshing welcome drink before indulging in delicious food and dancing the night away on the dance floor.
The summer party capacities at The Walks include standing parties for 150 to 1000 guests, seated dinners for 150 to 270 guests, and wedding receptions for 150 to 270 guests. All events come with full event management, event security, a manned cloakroom, a fully serviced bar, luxury toilets with attendants, a lounge, dining and garden furniture, ambient lighting, AV and lighting engineer, a PA system, a dance floor, and air-cooling.
The Walks at Gray’s Inn offers canapés or bowl food packages, where guests can mingle while being served by our chefs or opt for a BBQ-style buffet. The private dinners package provides guests with an al fresco dining experience for up to 270 guests, complete with a three-course meal, half a bottle of house wine per person, tea, coffee, and petit fours.
Apart from the packages, The Walks also offers the marquee as a dry-hire space for events. This package includes five acres of gardens, full event management, event security, a manned cloakroom, a fully serviced bar, luxury toilets with attendants, lounge and garden furniture, AV and lighting technician, a built-in stage with a dance floor, PA system, and air-cooling.
The marquee layout includes gents and disabled toilets, a ladies’ cloakroom, a bar, sofas, a DJ booth, sliding doors, a dance floor, and decking, all situated within The Walks’ beautiful gardens. The prices for dry hire start from £15,000 on Monday and go up to £40,000 on Thursday, with a minimum number of 150 guests required for all packages.
