For grand summer events for up to 200 guests, Kensington Palace is an ideal summer venue. The venue’s Orangery, which has already hosted several glamorous events, is perfect for occasions that require dancing, amplified music, and comperes. The Orangery features a grand stone terrace, which serves as an excellent location for a summer drinks reception. A marquee can be added for larger events to accommodate up to 570 guests.
Other event spaces at Kensington Palace include the elegant Orangery, which features graceful arches, intricate scrollwork, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The adjoining Terrace offers an indoor-outdoor space that overlooks a serene avenue of trees and lawns. The Cupola Room, where Queen Victoria was christened, and the King’s Drawing Room, with its magnificent ceiling, are perfect for hosting dinners and can be combined with a reception in the Sunken Garden. The Queen’s Gallery, a large and light-filled room with a barrel-vaulted ceiling, is ideal for pre-dinner receptions.
The Hub, the Palace’s dramatic entrance hall, features a stunning light sculpture replicating Queen Victoria’s wedding dress. The King’s Gallery, the largest and longest of the state apartments, has remained unchanged since it was decorated for King George I in 1727. The Sunken Garden, a tranquil ornamental garden of classical proportions, was planted in 1908 and modelled on a similar garden at Hampton Court Palace. The King’s Drawing Room, flooded with natural light and offering spectacular views of the Gardens, is perfect for relaxed summer receptions.

in the last weekIt was a lovely exhibit.of fashion . Each room was fine nicely. The crew there kept the lines in tact and kept the pace going so that it was not too crowded. The cafe is really nice as well as the gift shop.

a month agoGreat architecture and amazing interiors. The sunken gardens design is worth the visit; as they have Princess Diana sculpture, beautiful flowers and cradle walk with a view all around. The huge pond is a good place to relax and enjoy a evening walk. Lovely place to visit.

2 months agoVery nice place to visit with the family. You'll spend about an hour walking through the palace and then probably another hour at the gardens. I wish there was more historical information about the palace during the tour but it mostly highlights newer fashion. The tour is self paced. When queuing, there are umbrellas to use while in the sun. The gardens are beautiful and a huge pond. Lots of people walking around.

a month agoVisited Crown to couture exhibition. Excellent couple of hours walking through the Palace viewing many historic costumes and comparing with red carpet clothing for men and women. Had lunch at Cafe which was not overpriced. Walked around the sunken garden lovely views if the diana sculpture. Can thoroughly recommend great day out.

a month agoFabulous. We went to see the exhibition of court to couture, but wow beautiful the staff were brilliant so knowledgeable and friendly taking time to talk to everyone. The displays were wonderful, although there was none from Lady Diana which seemed strange considering how she was a strong advocate for British fashion designers. The building is well signposted and the toilets are very clean and easy access.
