We bought tickets for NYE event at Lalaland and it was the worst decision ever. The police closed the venue at 23:50, right before the countdown to 2024. We were kicked out and got no explanations about it. We could only "enjoy" the party for less than 2 hours. I was not surprised at all that the police cancelled this event because it was clearly not following any hygiene nor security requirements. Toilets were disgusting and 90% of them were out of order. Venue capacity was clearly exceeded. Long queues to order and you could not pay with card because their system had gone down. You had to pay with cash however they had no change available. A couple of fights took also place and the security had to intervene. A complete disaster, they ruined our NYE night and are not even answering to my emails requesting a reimbursement.

Booked a table for 14, expecting it’d be quite packed and busy - but we were the only big table and it honestly was a blessing in disguise because it made the whole venue feel like an unintentional private party! Parveen (correct my spelling if I’m wrong!) was incredibly hospitable and welcoming in particular, we felt at home and not just customers at a bar. While the food choice was limited as quite a few vendors were shut, likely due to the storm, the food available hit the spot and was very satiating, with options for both mains and desserts. Would definitely come again, especially for a big group of people!

You will find many food stalls here and a few bars selling mostly beer but maybe other alcoholic beverages. It’s in Shoreditch and is relatively easy to find. I got the Vegan-Amese Duck wrap (£9) and it was pretty delicious. Sweet and other unique flavours! Nice atmosphere! It’s a great place to hang out with friends.

A beautiful marketplace, built in the heart of Shoreditch. Its a good place to sit and hangout with your friends over 15 different variety of cuisine and drinks! You will find all sorts of food here ranging from tacos to Indian. Huge sitting area but it would be advisable to book a table if you are a group of 4 or more as it really gets busy over the weekends. Definitely worth visiting.

No idea what’s going on with this place but we were in London for one day so pre booked for 7 people in the evening. Turned up, place was closed . Never ever come across anything like that before. Tried ringing the phone number but it just said temporarily unavailable. Absolutely disgusted, and they have the cheek to say you’ll be charged per person if you don’t show up. Luckily Fat Hippo up the road had availability so we went there instead and it was fab.
