The Silver Sturgeon’s light bright spaces lend themselves perfectly to dramatic foliage garlands above the dance floor, a transparent cloud of balloons with ivy tails or lanterns filled with ferns and grey pillar candles. On the top deck, grand vases of spiky seagrass behind the bar which shimmer in the breeze, terrariums on our tall tables and light Tea Tonique scented tealights by Miller Harris. The Art Deco decks of the Silver Barracuda also offer a beautiful backdrop for this fresh woodland look with potted herb & moss table runners, forest green votives and large vases of lush summer grasses.

Keeping with the theme, our Executive Head Chef, Doug Gaunt, has been inspired by specialist UK growers, with some wonderful vegetables and micro herbs as the menu stars, such as the ‘Boquerones & Tomato Crostini, Coastal Foraged Herbs’ canapes and the ‘Pea Risotto, Pickled Radish, Feta, Alexanders’ as a main course with a pudding of ‘Lemon Curd, Ginger, Verbena Syrup and Greek Yoghurt’. We look forward to creating the ideal Summer event for you aboard Woods’ Silver Fleet whatever your heart’s desire, from simple scented tealights to a completely leafy Cocktail Bar.
