3 months agoMy boyfriend took me to Studio Frantzen for dinner last weekend and the food was phenomenal. We were welcomed to the bar with stunning views of the city including the London Eye and Big Ben and started with cocktails and oysters; the Rockefeller oysters were particularly good. We were then taken downstairs to the main restaurant and even the bread and butter was rich and delicious. We tried various dishes, the scallops were HEAVENLY, the Sweden vs Japan steaks complimented each other perfectly and the deep-fried potato was hard to share. I recommend getting the roasted cauliflower side as it comes as a generous portion and great to share. I'd also recommend the After Eight tart. The wine selection was huge and we felt very well taken care of. The restaurant was dimly lit and atmospheric, perfect for a date night.

5 months agoArrived before our reservation and the Bar Service was amazing - great atmosphere and helpful staff. We then sat down to eat where they again took our drink and food orders, service was substantially worse. Granted, this was the first week they’ve been open but Drinks needed reminding and long wait times really brought the experience down. The ambience, music, and decor along with the food was fantastic; hopefully they refine their service and it will be a can’t miss!

3 months agoOne of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Everything was top notch. Food: Extremely tasty dishes.I strongly recommend the scallops, the truffle in this dish was delicious, never had such tasty scallops! Also do not pass on the bread; I would go back just for the bread and the delicious honey/miso butter. You MUST get bread (it’s more like croissant). Service: Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful, he really made the most out of our dining here. I do appreciate good waiting system. The service was very, very quick. Ambience: We went at lunch and, not sure if this is because it’s new, but the place was full. However it did not feel it and was not squished in, the layout and interior was well thought out. Afterwards we went to the rooftop terrace, this was no where near as beautiful as the inside. However on our way up I noticed that there were a few tables for two on the balcony, I’d love to sit here next time! I’ll definitely be back, I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Thank you Studio Frantzen.

a month agoOur first day in London and we had to check out Harrods where we ate lunch at Studio Franzten. The decor is super chill and a live DJ (it was Sunday). The dishes were a Japanese meets Dutch influence and you can see & taste this interesting fusion in all their dishes. We ordered the lobster, the potato for our daughter who loved it. The the salmon with the crispy skin and the rice accompaniment was an amazing. The cocktails were made exceptional. There’s 2 floors and a great view. So if you’re spending a day in Knigtsbridge and shopping. Make sure to check this restaurant out.

a month agoNew restaurant opened end of November 2022. Great views from the rooftop and you can keep dry even when it’s raining. The food is on the salty side, but great quality and superb service.
