4 months agoWe came here for Sunday brunch. The waiters were extremely attentive and the food arrived extremely quickly. For mains, the salmon and avocado toast was delicious. The fried chicken brioche was average and quite small. The fish and chips were lovely and the chips were cooked extremely well. The ice cream with the sticky toffee pudding tasted different but the pudding itself was wonderful

a year agoFor a lively pint with mates or family, the Lighterman at the new Granary Square development is a great option. The restaurant is spread over 2 floors and has a big terrace. Which is perfect for these times. There is plenty of heating on the terrace too. The food is nice and the portions are pretty good too. Some good choices for vegans as well. They have a good selection of ales and wines. Prices are pretty good. Service was fantastic. We would go again for sure.

a year agoCame here for a quick dinner. Food tasted good and of high quality, you could tell that everything was made fresh. One thing that I found interesting is that the burger came medium rare, which was a first for me. I would have preferred if the waiter asked me how I wanted it done other than that The place is very lively at night and not a place if you're going to have a relaxing quiet meal all in all a good meal and relatively reasonable prices for London.

3 months agoA good pub. We had dinner in the restaurant upstairs. The food is good. I had the cured salmon started and the cod as a main. Service was attentive and efficient. The atmosphere upstairs is lovely with a nice view over the canal and granary square.

10 months agoGreat location but unfortunately no option to request an outside table when booking on line. As a result we were upstairs which was noisy with very little cool air. Did ask if it was possible to move as appeared to be a number of empty tables. Rather disinterested waitress said they where full. Very hot day and took ages to get a bottle of water. Food good but on the expensive side at £10 for a roasted tomato flat bread and £17.5/£18.5 for burger and fries. Didn’t feel the service was worth the 12.5% added to the bill.
